clip guineas nails?

Hi!
My guineas are 5 weeks old and we put them outside yesterday. I love my guineas so much and I have only had them for 5 weeks! Anyway, I was wondering, do we need to clip our guineas nails? They are long and sharp and I have scratches down my arm from them. Is this a regular thing with guineas? We have heard that you can clip chickens nails but we have never clip our chickens nails and they seem fine. Thanks,
