| HOVA-BATOR INCUBATOR
CIRCULATING AIR, with FULL VIEW PICTURE WINDOW, Weight: 11 lbs. Price: Around $75.00 ![]() This is the incubator I choose to use. INCUBATOR Top has large clear
plastic window for best viewing of the incubating and hatching process.Picture
Window is double plate plastic with air space insulation to help eliminate
moisture buildup, which would obstruct viewing. Large viewing area is ideal
for classroom work, science projects, advertising and promotional work,
and for group observation of the hatching process. Available in both Thermal
Air Flow and Circulated Air models. I prefer the circulating air model
for a more even heat. This incubator will hold from 120 small quail eggs,
up to 42 large duck eggs, 50 chicken eggs, 70 guinea eggs.
When ordering online, there is usually no state tax to pay. Incubators are very lightweight, so the shipping costs should be minimal. Options are to purchase from your hometown, a large pet shop, farm and fleet store, a tractor supply center, even your local feed mill can get one for you if they do not stock incubators. Unless you are running a hatchery, this incubator is perfect for home use. One hatch will usually more than pay for it. Hand raised day old keets sell for $5 each, a clutch of 30 will earn $150 and you will still come out ahead. Automatic egg turners are optional for an additional cost, and are usually available where incubators are sold. Please check the GFBA SPONSOR LIST for for a list of suppliers that carry incubators. |
