"The Nursery"

This "holding area" teaches keets where they are to eat, sleep, and drink while providing an area that is safe for introduction to an existing flock without pecking.  Birds sharing a house will soon learn that each other "belongs" so that when they are eventually released, any pecking order will be minimal.

BELOW: The wire divider raises up and locks into place to enlarge the overall size of the
henhouse once the birds in the nursery are released to mingle and range with the others.

W. Eubank's guineas being released from
their holding pen - time to mingle!

A divided brooding area in a heated part of the
nursery works well for keets of different ages.
