We reserve the right to remove any post or edit the content of any post to remove an email address or link / advertisment as stated below. Continued infractions will cause you to be banned from the board, and reported to your ISP. We reserve the right to deny the use of this area at any time without stated reason.

• We do not post contact information (email, phone numbers, instant messenger IDs) or divulge someone else's contact information on this message board. This information can cause someone a lot of problems including spam and viruses. Responding to questions privately does not benefit all visitors. Any post which discusses contact information will be removed.
• No links / advertisements. We are NOT a classified ad forum. We do not allow posting items/services for sale. This includes but is not limited to:

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Sponsors and Breeders ONLY may offer for sale, for free or for trade any item related to guinea fowl or poultry. This includes eggs, birds, equipment or supplies. Please see the Breeder's List at #5 and the Sponsor's links at #7 above the message board for these items.
• GFBA members and other visitors may register to advertise on the Breeders List that is linked at the top of the message board. (Any breeder who is in violation of the rules on this message board will be removed from the BREEDERS LIST without refund.)
• This board does not support hyper text markup language (html).Please click on the Photo Album if you have pictures to share or you can upload a photo within your message board post - see the HELP button on the main message board page just below BROWSE for assistance.
• The rules for the message board are enforced by the moderators and by the GFBA Officers. A temporary or permanent ban from the message board may occur if these rules are ignored.
• To report report rule infractions or posts that need to be removed or for complaints. use # 12.
• Remember, the only dumb question is the one that wasn't asked.  Have fun posting!
• Please consider joining the Guinea Fowl Breeders List (GFBL) or Guinea Fowl Breeders Association (GFBA). Our guineas are the breeders, and we are the folks who own them :)

HISTORY

This forum was opened on April 10, 1998 by Jeannette Ferguson as a part of Frit's Farm.  The book "Gardening with Guineas: A Step by Step Guide to Raising Guinea Fowl on a Small Scale" was published in June 1999 and refers readers to both this message board and also to the Breeders List that is linked from this same message board. The GFBA was founded in the fall of 1999. This board continues to be the founding home where GFBA members "hang out" to encourage, support, and educate people as to the benefits in raising guinea fowl.

This is the original "Guinea Fowl Message Board" for discussing everything about guinea fowl and anything pertaining to raising them alone or with other poultry.  Whether you are new to guineas or an expert, everyone interested in guineas or learning about them is encouraged to post on this message board. Need some quick help from others who raise guinea fowl? You have come to the right place! .

Please let me know (by clicking on the suggestions/complaints link below) if there is anything at all you are unhappy with or anything is not working correctly. I can't fix it if I don't know it's broken and helpful suggestions are always gratefully received. :) It is my ambition that this site become (and remain) a happy little community sharing the common interest of Guinea Fowl and I will do my utmost to ensure it remains that way. --Jeannette
